The Furman Paladins Men’s Basketball (10-9, 4-2 SoCon) get ready tonight to host the top team in the Southern Conference the Samford Bulldogs (17-2, 6-0 SoCon) in a early heavyweight battle in a possible preview of the SoCon title game.

Furman is coming off a huge win this past Saturday against Western Carolina when JP Pegues hit a huge 3 pointer to win the game, while Samford was able to beat Mercer 87-80. This game is sure to be a epic fight between two big game teams that want to prove they belong in the NCAA tournament come March Madness. NBA scouts are in attendance and ESPN has been hyping this game as one of the best to watch all week. We are set to get this game on the way, here is your Furman starting 5 lineup.

We come to the first media timeout and its 8-7 with Samford in the lead after two turnovers by Furman in the backcourt. The Paladins are looking better after the timeout and have a 16-10 lead now with 11:30 to go in the first half of play. Samford gets two steals and makes it 16-14 quickly.
