The Furman Paladins Volleyball (5-4) was able to come back after losing the first set 25/15 to the Presbyterian Blue Hoes (3-8) to a three-set straight win (23/25, 19/25, 16/25). The night started with a ceremony for Coach Michelle Young who was celebrating 25 years at Furman, the winningest coach in Furman history. Furman with Coach Young leading the way has won 3 SoCon regular season championships (2209, 2014, 2017) and two tournament championships (2008, 2015).

Chandler Parker had 11 kills, and 33 TA, Izzy Castelloe had 9 kills, and 22 TA, Genevieve Perry had 10 kills, 19 TA on attack and 12 on serve. Furman after the first set took compete control of the game and kept the Blue Hoes at bay to get the win heading into a trip to Kennesaw State on 9/20. The team returns home on 9/21 to face state rival Clemson. Make sure to come fill up Alley Gym and support women’s sports!
