The Furman Paladins Men’s Soccer (6-3-2, 1-1-0 SoCon) welcome the Rivals from up I85 the Wofford Terriers (5-4-2, 1-1-0 SoCon) to the match at Eugene Sone Stadium. Both of these teams are in the mix for the top of the Southern conference and want to make a statement tonight.

The two teams have a defensive battle in the first half with Furman only getting 5 shots on goal to Wofford 1 shot. Both teams had 10 fouls a piece in the first half of the match, Furman was able to get 3 corner kicks to 3 of the Terriers.

Furman is the first to score and #17 gets the goal with #10 getting the assist and its 1-0 Furman on top of the Wofford Terriers at the 38-minute mark left in the game. Furman has another chance at a goal but it is called off as offside is called on Furman, so we stay at 1-0.

Furman #22 gets a goal on a free kick and its 2-0 and the fans are giving the home team the noise of excitement with less than 5 minutes left in the game. Furman holds on and wins 2-0.
