Furman Women’s Basketball (2-1) took a trip down to the beach to face a tough Charleston Southern (0-3) team and picked up a huge win 71-68. Jada Session had 19 points and scored 13 of those points in the third quarter, while also having 8 rebounds a pair of steals and assist. Sydney James had 8 of her 14 points in the third quarter, when the Buccaneers tied it up 40-40 the Paladins answered by outscoring them 14-7 to a 54-47 advantage.

Furman then held on to a 71-68 win in the fourth quarter, Tate Walters had 12 points with only 29 minutes of play, while Kate Johnson had 8 points and 6 rebounds, Sydney Ryan had 7 points along with 7 carooms as the Paladins was even with the Bucs 37-37 on the glass.
