Furman Women’s Soccer Faces Off with North Greenville
Furman Women’s Soccer (2-0-0) was in action versus North Greenville (0-0-0) at Seagraves Field on Thursday night and just in two minutes Furman gets a goal by #25 Hannah Farr after a foul put the Paladins in the goal area. The goal was Hannah’s first goal of the season for Furman Red-Shirt Jr. from Lawrenceville, GA.
At with 28th minute to go in the first half #21 Nieva Gaither MF freshman from Lilburn, GA gets the header in the goal with an assist from Ashlyn Goila and its 2-0 Furman. The Paladins are really playing great defense and creating shot attempts and keeping the ball on the Greenville side of the field.
The second half starts off and its Furman looking to extend its lead and keep North Greenville off their side of the field, and in the 49th minute #10 Valentina Mosquera gets a goal with an assist from #21 Nieva Gaither and its 3-0 Furman up on North Greenville.
