The Furman Women’s Soccer (5-4-3, 1-0-2 SoCon) was able to get a draw with SoCon foe Samford (6-6-2, 3-1-1 SoCon) 1-1 on Sunday afternoon in Birmingham, Alabama. Furman who had been on a long layoff due to the effects of Hurricane Helene, was glad to be in action once again. “We are coming off a long layoff today and playing a road game against a very tough opponent so it’s great to get a point to extend our unbeaten streak” said Paladin Head Coach Andrew Burr.

“I know our team is excited to get back home and finally play a game at Stone Stadium. Hopefully everyone will come out and support this team on Thursday night.” Furman as mentioned by coach above will be playing its rescheduled “Pink Game” on Thursday versus UNC Greensboro at 7pm at Stone Stadium. Please make sure to show up and show out as admission is free and every game has great action.
