Furman Sports Cancelations
Furman has had many cancelations since Hurricane Helene on Friday last week. Furman vs Samford Football was canceled on Saturday and no date has been set to make it up. This week Furman travels to The Citadel for a 2pm game, yet its unknown if this will happen as the University is still cleaning up from the mess.
Furman Men’s and Women’s soccer has also been affected as the Men was set to play this Tuesday night and that has been changed to October 8th 7pm at USC Upstate. The Women’s team was set to play Friday night, which was canceled, then this Thursday’s game versus UNC Greensboro has now also been canceled. As of now no makeup dates on either of the women’s team games have been announced.
