Furman Softball in Double Header Versus ETSU at Pepsi Stadium
Its Senior Day at Pepsi Stadium for the Furman Softball team (21-29, 6-12 SoCon) as they face the ETSU Softball team (11-35, 5-13 SoCon) as both teams are playing for better position in the up and coming SoCon tourney next week in Greensboro.
The Paladins find themselves behind 1-0 after the first inning when a pop-fly drops right in front the Furman left fielder leading to a run coming in. The Paladins then left two on base but was unable to drive them in, so we head to the second inning.
Ther Paladins was able to score 3 runs in the fifth inning and 7 runs in the sixth inning to run rule win over ETSU Bucs 11-3 in Game 1. Freshman Charlotte Brooks got her first hit of the year to help her team with the walk off hit that won the game.
