Furman Softball Falls to Jacksonville St 3-2 at Bulldog Classic
Furman Softball was able to score two runs in the seventh but was unable to get the win as Jacksonville St. got the win. The Gamecocks was able to get the win over Miami (Ohio) in the first game of the day, before facing Furman afterwards. Starter Sierra Tufts (5-3) scored for the loss vs. Jacksonville St. only allowed two earned runs on four hits in little over 5 innings of work.
Furman will have two games Saturday at Georgia’s Turner Softball Field weather permitting, as first is slated for 10:30am in a rematch with the Gamecocks, next will be a 6pm matchup with the Miami Redhawks. Follow all your Furman Paladins Softball action here at https://furmanjoust.com.
