Furman Men’s Soccer (2-0-1) was able to come back in a huge non-conference game on Friday night to get the 2-1 win over the visiting Trailblazers from North Greenville. The Trailblazers took the lead in the 19th minute with a Coner kick header by Omar Gulmez, and held the lead into the half. Furman right out the gate four minutes into the second half got the score and tied it up 1-1 when Christian Kraus was taken down in the box, and converted for the goal.

Furman Lloyd Snell was sent off in the 57th minute and NGU had a man advantage which lasted till the 70th minute when Cooper Tyler received a 2nd caution, and the Trailblazers was reduced to 10 players. Furman would then with 10 minutes left to play got a huge goal by Gabe Cox’s first goal and would hold on to win 2-1.

Furman heads on the road Monday to Charlotte to face the 49ers at 7pm.
