Watch: Furman’s Jake Raine scores at the buzzer to lift Paladins Men’s Soccer over Gardner-Webb

The Furman Paladins Men’s soccer squad beat the buzzer in a rarely seen last second finish to stun Gardner-Webb at home in Greenville on Saturday evening. Paladin forward Jake Raine tapped the ball in from about six feet out off an assist from fellow Furman forward Christian Kraus in a wild sequence to lift the Paladins over the Bulldogs, 2-1.

You can see the buzzer beating walk off goal for yourself below.

The Paladins (4-2-0) will get two days to rest on their laurels before continuing their homestand against the College of Charleston on Tuesday evening. For more Furman Paladins athletics coverage, be sure to follow the Furman Joust Podcast on Twitter/X, or visit our website at furmanjoust.com.
