Furman Snags Victory Over Mercer
The Furman Paladins Men’s Basketball (16-5, 4-4 SoCon) brought home a very needed victory over the Mercer Bears (10-11, 3-5 SoCon) on the road at Hawkins Arena Saturday night. The game was the final of a double header as the Paladins women’s team got a victory also over the lady Bears.

The Paladins behind a huge night by Nick Anderson who had 18 points 7/11 from the field, and Bronson matched a career high16 points on 4/6 shooting from 3-point range. PJay Smith had his usual double figure point night with 15 points 5/6 from the foul lane. The Paladins was 54.5% from the floor, while hitting 10/25 from 3-point range. The Paladins was also able to get a 37-29 edge in rebounds over the Bears, and also a 14-12 edge on second chance points.

Furman returns home on Wednesday night at 6pm to face Samford in a huge matchup that will be televised on CCBS Sports Network from Bons Secours Wellness Arena.
