Paladins Get Win 5 in a Row
The Furman Paladins women’s basketball (9-3) on the season got yet another win 68-50 on the road and moved to a 5-game winning streak as they head into the Southern Conference play soon. Niveya Henley was able to get 19 points to help propel her team, which outscored the UNC Asheville team (1-8) in every quarter at Kimmel Arena.

Kate Johnson scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds getting her fourth double-double of the season, while Jada Session had 11 points and five rebounds after returning from a back injury which has had her out all of the preseason games so far. The Paladins was able in the fourth to once again get much needed depth and allow its bench to get playing time and experience for the conference schedule starting soon.

The Paladins will be back in action starting next week in Seattle, Washington where they will play Boise State and Washington in the Husky Classic. First tipoff is Wednesday at 3pm so make sure to support your Women’s Basketball team.
