UNC Greensboro broke a scoreless tie in the 72nd minute to propel the Spartans to a 1-0 victory. The Furman men’s soccer team was unable to get a score in after a great defensive battle between the two teams.

After the Spartans, ranked No. 23 in the latest Top Drawer Soccer Top 25, were awarded a free kick at the top of the box, Llyod Wamu Snell and Christian Kraus each tallied shots on goal in the final minutes, but UNCG’s goalie came up with saves to keep the Paladins off the board. The Paladins will be back in action on Tuesday night when they travel to Presbyterian at 7pm.
