Furman Joust Football Predictions for 2024 Season

Furman with a new look across the board still has experience but lost allot of great talent, it will rely on younger, faster players to push them to the finish line and another Southern Conference title and playoff bid. UT Chattanooga and Western Carolina will be out to take away that title, as will others in the league but those two seem to have the players and coaching to get it done.
The four teams I picked at the bottom of the league could go back and forth battling to list with VMI in my mind having a great chance to surprise some teams this year. I feel they could get as high as fifth when all is said and done, yet Mercer and ETSU I picked ahead just based on talent. Sothern Conference Media Days is ahead, and we will have a chance to see just who has the talent and coaching to get to be the representee of the conference.
