Furman Women’s basketball comes into today’s Southern Conference as a huge underdog after beating ETSU Saturday to get a better seed and to knock off a better team leading to this moment. UNC Greensboro gets off to a lead as Furman has a few misshapes, With a huge block by Sydney James and a charging foul towards Tate Walters, Furman tries to get back in this game with a score 7-2 Paladins trailing. We have our first media timeout and Furman is still trying to get back even with UNC-Greensboro 10-6 after a huge Tate Walters 3 point shot to get Furman within range. The end of the first half and Furman is within one point as the score is 18-17 UNC Greensboro in the lead.
